According to Statistics, Alex Galchenyuk's cap hit will increase from $750,000 in the 2022-23 season to $775,000 in the 2023-24 season. He is currently under contract with SKA Saint Petersburg of the Kontinental Hockey League.

Galchenyuk is a 28-year-old centerman from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was drafted third overall by the Montreal Canadiens in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. He has since played for the Arizona Coyotes, Minnesota Wild, Ottawa Senators, and Toronto Maple Leafs.
