World Cup 2022: Brazil Beat Serbia 2-0
Brazil opened their World Cup campaign with a 2-0 victory over Serbia on Thursday
Richarlison scored a stunning brace to secure the win for the five-time champions
Brazil were dominant throughout the match and created a number of chances, but they were unable to find the breakthrough until the second half. Richarlison finally broke the deadlock in the 62nd minute with a low shot into the bottom corner, and he doubled Brazil's lead 11 minutes later with a spectacular overhead kick.
Serbia offered little in attack and were unable to test Brazil goalkeeper Alisson. The win gives Brazil a perfect start to their World Cup campaign, while Serbia will need to improve if they are to reach the knockout stages.
