76ers Injury Report: Embiid, Oubre Jr. Out for Game 5 vs. Knicks
Embiid Re-evaluated After Lateral Meniscus Injury
The Philadelphia 76ers will be without reigning MVP Joel Embiid and Kelly Oubre Jr. for Game 5 of their first-round playoff series against the New York Knicks on Tuesday evening.
Embiid Out with Lateral Meniscus Injury
Embiid exited the Sixers' loss to the Warriors a week ago in the fourth quarter after Jonathan Kuminga fell on his left knee. An MRI revealed a lateral meniscus injury, and the official said he will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
Oubre Jr. Out with Knee Injury
Oubre Jr. suffered a knee injury in Sunday's Game 4 loss to the Knicks and will miss Saturday's Game 5. Coach Tyronn Lue did not provide a specific update on Oubre Jr.'s injury status but said he would be evaluated further.
